Across the ocean, Caitlin closes up the pub for a little kissing action with Peter. Meanwhile, a woman named Elle, who has the ability to create electricity, comes looking for Peter at the shipping yards.

The scroll recounts Hiro's further adventures with Kensei and the trials that bring them closer to rescuing Yaeko's father. In Japan, Hiro and Kensei arrive back to Yaeko's side with the final piece of the map showing the location of White Beard's camp.

He gets up and begins painting something while in a trance. At the same time, Elle arrives at the pub where Ricky tells her he's never seen Peter. She locks the door and electricity begins to course through her hands.

Janice, his ex-wife, enters to tell him that he can read minds and knows the truth about the baby's father, but he left anyway... just like his dad did. Both fight their way out of their nightmares, emerging back in Maury's apartment where they find a picture of Bob with the red helix smudged over it.
